Who it’s for · Pool and spa services

On a weekly route? Pool calls don’t pile up in voicemail.

You’re skimming your twelfth pool of the day when a customer calls because the gate latch snapped and the neighbors’ kids are home. You won’t hear the message until the route is done. Phoneman answers, takes the details you need, and writes up every call.

Phoneman is not an emergency service. It marks urgent calls so you see them first.

Boundaries

It answers. You decide.

What it does
  • Tell a caller with someone hurt, a chemical spill or sparks near the water to get everyone away from the pool, then call 911
  • Ask whether the pool is open to children when a gate or cover is broken
  • Answer questions you have approved, such as the service days for each town
  • Offer to connect a caller to you, if they agree, when you have call transfers turned on
What it won’t do
  • Tell callers how much chlorine or shock to add
  • Say whether the water is safe to swim in
  • Work out what is wrong with the pump or heater
  • Quote a price or promise a visit day
It learns your answers · example
  1. A caller asks: “Do you close pools for the winter?”
  2. You approve: “Yes. We start closings in mid-October and book them in the order people call.”
  3. Next time: The next caller asking about winterizing hears when closings start and that you will call back with a date.

Transfers, with consent. An HOA board member asks for you by name about the community pool. With call transfers on, Phoneman asks first, then rings your phone; outside your transfer hours it takes a message.

FAQ

Will it tell a customer what chemicals to add?

No. It never gives dosing or mixing advice or says the water is safe. It takes what the water looks like so you can follow up.

What does it do if someone is hurt in the pool?

It tells the caller to get everyone out of and away from the water, then call 911. It does not keep them on the line.

How do new weekly customers reach me?

A notification once the call is written up, with the pool type, the address and the day they’d like, so you can add them to a route and call back.

Will it quote a price for weekly cleaning?

Only a price you have given it. Otherwise it takes the details and you send the quote.
