Who it’s for · Pest control companies

Hornets by the swing set? The parent gets a real answer.

Your techs are on routes all day. A parent calls about a hornet nest next to the swing set, hits voicemail, and books whoever picks up first. Phoneman answers, takes the details you need, and writes up every call.

Phoneman is not an emergency service. It marks urgent calls so you see them first.

Boundaries

It answers. You decide.

What it does
  • Tell a caller to call 911 if someone has trouble breathing or swelling after a sting
  • Answer approved questions, such as the pests you treat and the towns you cover
  • Mark a bat in a bedroom or wasps inside the house as Urgent
  • Offer to connect a caller to you, if they agree, when you have call transfers turned on
What it won’t do
  • Identify a pest for certain or name a chemical
  • Say whether a treatment is safe for kids, pets or pregnancy
  • Tell callers to trap, touch or knock down an animal or a nest
  • Quote a price or promise a visit time
It learns your answers · example
  1. A caller asks: “Do you handle bed bugs in apartment buildings?”
  2. You approve: “Yes. We inspect the unit first, and we work directly with landlords and property managers.”
  3. Next time: The next tenant or landlord asking about bed bugs hears that you start with an inspection.

Transfers, with consent. A restaurant manager asks for your commercial rep by name. With call transfers on, Phoneman asks before putting them through to your phone; outside your transfer hours it takes a message.

FAQ

Will it tell callers whether your spray is safe for their dog?

No. It never says whether a treatment is safe for children, pets or pregnancy. It passes the question to you.

What happens if a caller was stung and is struggling to breathe?

It tells them to call 911 now and keeps the call short. The write-up is marked Urgent.

Can it tell a termite from a flying ant?

No. It writes down what the caller saw, such as wings or mud tubes, and leaves identifying it to your inspector.

Will I hear about a stinging-insect call while I’m on a route?

If the caller says stinging insects are inside or attacking people now, or a sting is causing trouble breathing, it’s marked Urgent and your phone makes a sound. Requests for regular service arrive silently in the same feed.
