Phoneman is not an emergency service. It marks urgent calls so you see them first.

Boundaries

It answers. You decide.

What it does
  • Tell a caller with a tree on a power line to stay well away and call 911 or the electric company
  • Answer approved questions, such as your services and the areas you cover
  • Mark trees on buildings and water gushing from a broken line as Urgent
  • Offer to connect a caller to you, if they agree, when you have call transfers turned on
What it won’t do
  • Say whether a tree is safe, or diagnose a lawn, tree or sprinkler problem
  • Give shut-off or chemical instructions
  • Quote a price or promise a visit day
  • Say whether insurance or a guarantee covers the work
It learns your answers · example
  1. A caller asks: “Do you do aeration and overseeding?”
  2. You approve: “Yes, every fall. We start taking bookings in late August.”
  3. Next time: The next caller asking about aeration hears that you do it in the fall and when bookings open.

Transfers, with consent. An HOA board member asks to speak to you about the common-area contract. With call transfers on, Phoneman asks first, then rings your phone; outside your transfer hours it takes a message.

FAQ

Will it tell a caller whether a leaning tree is about to fall?

No. It never judges whether a tree is safe. It notes what the caller sees, and marks a limb they say is hanging as Important.

What if a tree is touching a power line?

It tells the caller to stay well away and call 911 or the electric company, without keeping them on the phone.

Can it keep up with the spring rush of mowing requests?

Yes. Each caller’s service, frequency and area go into a write-up, so you can quote them in one sitting.

Will calls interrupt me on a mower all day?

Only the urgent ones make a sound. Routine calls arrive silently on your phone, and you can set notifications to “Urgent only” if you want to hear about nothing else until you’re off the mower.

Never miss another call.

Set it up in about 3 minutes, call it yourself, and forward your calls only when you’re happy.
